Every little pick helps! We want everyone to be able to look after our beautiful planet, starting on our door step. So we have invested in litter pickers (for adults and children) with hi vis jackets & a new motto 'the less rubbish church'! They are always available from 10am before our services ... so that anyone can grab one and join the litter picking to help us keep the grounds around the Church and the Common free of litter.

An all age communion service on the 3rd Sunday of the month, which brings the whole church together for the duration of the service. The interactive sermon will appeal to children and young people as much as to older generations. Music is a mix of songs and hymns. Arrive 20mns before the start to take part in pre-service activities and enjoy some refreshments.

A warm parent, baby and toddler group where parents can meet other parents, chat and watch their little ones explore the world. Running during term time.
No need to book in advance.

Once a month, wewe create space for a more contemplative form of worship.
Lasting 40mns, this service of prayer with communion includes a seasonal liturgy, 20 minutes of silence, and a few Taizé chants as we break bread together.

Drop in into our warm space for a free hot drink, a friendly space and a chat. It also includes a community lunch twice a month, please check our website for the dates.
Our Place of Welcome belongs to a growing network of Places of Welcome that are run by local community groups who want to make sure everyone in your area has a place to go for conversation and a cup of tea if and when they need it.

A warm welcome, friendly faces and a homemade soup with bread. Join us for our community lunches, open to all, fortnightly on Thursdays at 1pm. Check our websites for dates.

A short time of reflective, seasonal prayer connecting ecology (spring) and sprituality (Lent). Meet on the common, at the wildflower meadow opposite St Barnabas (or in church if it is raining). Morning prayer (9.30-9.45) Evening (18.00-18.15)

Join us for 45 minutes of informal and creative worship with simple craft and catchy songs. It is a child friendly service designed with babies, toddlers and kids.

The Book of Common Prayer service normally held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

We celebrate baptisms as part of our services bringing the whole church together and welcoming together the baptised into our church community.
