At St. Leonards we welcome recorded personal reflections of Christian faith, and we have pleasure in including this panel with links and short descriptions.
Please be aware that these are personal perspectives, and do not imply or carry endorsement by St. Leonards PCC as a matter of policy. However, each reflection has been viewed/heard by an ordained member of clergy to ensure that they are suitable for inclusion within the broad understanding of the Church of England.
Drawing together the key Christian understanding that the nature of God is love, unconditional love, and the three great laws of nature that drive creation and evolution - gravity, light/energy and time – this reflection seeks the bridge between science and faith. Christians believe that humans are made in the image of God, and it is therefore only natural that we should explore, marvel at, and continue to unwrap God's technology [15 minutes]
Love at the Cutting Edge is a reflection on the nature of evil and suffering, whether of human origin or otherwise, and on how Christian teaching resonates with morality and conscience. The background music is Gorecki's Symphony No. 3, first movement as performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 1995 [20 minutes].
