This weeks service is here
Live and Recorded
Although we’re back to having services in church, they will be recorded and available on YouTube, so that those who can’t get to church in person can still join in - we’re really glad that this means no-one is left out of our worship, so please spread the word!
Holy Week
The cross will be erected in the churchyard in Holy Week, and there will be a series of cards with the Stations of the Cross and prayers, also in the churchyard, at both St Marys and St Johns so that everyone can use them safely in their own time. Anyone is welcome to decorate the cross with flowers for Easter, come when you like.
Compline
The RSCM are holding Night Prayer services every Wednesday at 8.00pm.
You can find this on their Youtube channel RSCM Compline in Lent
Good Friday
Prayers at the Cross will be on Good Friday at 2pm - a short gathering outside with
readings and reflections. The church will be open 10am-6pm on Good Friday.
Easter Sunday
On Easter Sunday there will be a Communion service at 10.30am, with the same guidelines in place as there were at Christmas - social distancing inside church, wearing masks, no singing, using hand sanitiser and distribution of bread only at Communion. After that, we hope to continue Sunday services, with the lessening of restrictions as and when allowed.
St Johns will have a traditional Book of Common Prayer Communion on Easter Sunday at 9.15am. Because of the lack of space in Milton church, we’re inviting anyone who would like to, to join in the Adderbury Easter service this year.
