St Leonards
St. Leonards is a small and friendly church high in the Chiltern Hills, near Wendover Woods. The highlight of each month is our Breakfast service, generally on the third Sunday starting at 9 am with coffee and croissants in the Church Room, followed by a half-hour service in Church. Come and see!
There's also a Parish Communion service generally on the first Sunday starting at 9 am.
This Christmas there's a 'Midnight Communion' on 24th December, starting at 11.30 pm
The Church of England has a good videocast on YouTube (just 3 minutes long) which is well worth watching: https://youtu.be/uglkRXWOZak .
Also, try visiting our online carol service (51 mins) which was prepared in 2020 during the pandemic by/for the Hilltops and The Lee.
Please do visit the church, which is generally open for private prayer.
Please use either 'A Church Near You' to find an online service, or visit the Oxford Diocese, or the Church of England website for more details. Our own short reading of Night Prayer, accompanied by Taize music, can be found here. You may also find the 'Psalm of Isolation' and 'You Say' helpful.
God bless you, and we hope to see you at our monthly breakfast service!

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
