Children & Young People

People of all ages are welcome at St. Peter & St. Paul, but we do provide some tailored services for children and young people and there are activities Ellesborough children can join in with at our other Benefice Parishes, Kimble and Stoke Mandeville. 

PARENTS & TODDLER GROUP meets at The Ark in Stoke Mandeville 10am-11.30am every Monday and Tuesday during term time. Booking now required.

At Ellesborough church the Songs of Praise service is more concise and accessible for children. At all of our services there is a children’s table available with colouring, books and sometimes craft. We also have a discreet area which allows parents to feed or change their children if required, the church now has a toilet and new servery area.

All Ellesborough children are invited to join in with the St. Nic's Kids Services at St. Nicholas Great Kimble.  This is designed as a venture for both parishes.  The Service is held every Third Sunday.  Doors open at 9.15 am for tea, coffee and pastries for adults plus lots of fun games and activities for children followed by an engaging and relevant service for everyone. We aim to finish at 10.30am.

At St. Peter & St. Paul the Christingle Service, Crib Service, Christmas Day, Good Friday Stations, Easter Day and Harvest are times when we lay on particular services for young families and children - at other times we are supporting the children's work at St. Nicholas which is proving a great success.
