Come and See takes place during Lent each year. It's our big, warm open invitation to everyone, for everyone for an adventure in faith and trust. It’s something for the local church and the whole community... including children and young people, families and schools. It's completely free and all are welcome. At St Peter's we will be having discussion evenings starting on Tuesday 28th February and every Tuesday through Lent at 7.30pm - so up until Easter. Come and See is for anyone who is interested in Christianity, whether they’ve
+ never been to church
+ stopped going to church because – well, life; or
+ been regular church-goers for years.
It is part small discussion group, part daily reflection – with excellent resources that have been developed by Bishop Steven’s team.
Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.

St Peter's Didcot

We are a small, friendly congregation in the modern Catholic tradition, with a very strong choir helping to lead our worship. The church itself is warm, comfortable and easy to get into and around.   We are Inclusive of all people regardless of race, sex, sexuality, gender and disability.  We welcome people of all ages: single, partnered, married, single-again, with or without children.

Safeguarding

The parish of Didcot: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO, Alison Driscoll. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [email protected] or the DSA [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
