Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. Jointly with our Methodist friends, we remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.

Cropredy: St Mary the Virgin

The Church of St Mary the Virgin is a magnificent, mainly 14C, church, which lies at the heart of the village of Cropredy. The church has a fine pre-Reformation lectern, a Doom painting of national significance, beautiful stained glass, and a lady chapel dedicated to St. Fremund, our Saxon saint whose chantry chapel once stood on the site.
