St Peter's hold their service of Holy Baptism on the 2nd Sunday, if you are interested in being baptised at St Peter’s please discuss this with your Parish Warden

As a start to this festive time, follow the Christmas story through nine short readings, each followed by a well-known carol.

Who doesn't enjoy the singing of carols, listening to Christmas music or marvelling at the beautifully decorated churches at this time of year?

As a start to this festive time, come along to follow the Christmas story through nine short readings , look at the beautiful floral creations, listen to the choir and join in with the singing of traditional carols. Children will be asked to process and carry the figures to the altar to create the special nativity scene for all to see during the Christmas season at St Peter's Church, Cranbourne.

This will be followed by mulled wine, coffee, tea and of course mince minces. Whether it’s a quick cuppa, glass of wine or sitting around tables it’s a special time to meet and chat to people.

Whether you’re new to the area, visiting family or just feel like coming along, our St Peter’s family will be there to give you a warm welcome.

What better way to celebrate the birth of Christ, than to stop, take a moment away from all the hustle and bustle of Christmas, and come to the special Candlelight Communion Service.

Come up the lantern lit path and through the door to a very warm welcome. You will immediately start to feel the atmosphere on this Holy night, created by the beautifully decorated church, the candles, the music, the singing of carols, the choir, and the joy of everyone being together to celebrate the gift of God’s only Son.

Just by taking a short time out of your busy preparations you will find, as the carol says “All is calm, All is bright”. It is truly a special way to start your Christmas celebrations so please come and join us at St Peter’s Church, Cranbourne

A brief Christmas Morning service

St Peter’s Church team warmly welcomes you all to our special Candlemas Service on the first Sunday in February at 11am, bringing the light of Jesus to us all with words, music and candlelight

All are welcome to attend and share.
After our breakfast at 9.30am and 10am short service, we will hold our the Annual Parochial Church Meeting

All are welcome to attend these services which offer an opportunity for us to draw together to remember and give thanks for the fallen

This service is held annually on the second Sunday in November at the earlier time of 10.45am

St Peter's Patronal Service and Holy Communion is held at St Peter's Church in Cranbourne annually on the fourth Sunday in June at the earlier time of 10.30am.

We are joined by our other parish churches; St Mary's Church, Winkfield and St Martin's Church, Chavey Down

Morning Prayer and Praise Service, centred around safeguarding.

Safeguarding Sunday is an opportunity to meet your safeguarding team, acknowledge and thank your volunteers, and explain why safeguarding is important to everybody.

As church, God calls us to:
protect the weak (James 1:27)
speak up for those whose voices are not heard (Proverbs 31:8)
follow Jesus’ example of servant leadership (Luke 22:26)
and
pursue God’s heart for justice for all (Micah 6:8).

It’s our joy and privilege to join in with God’s mission to bring healing to the broken hearted, restore justice, and offer freedom and light where there is pain and darkness.

Safeguarding is everyone’s business because God is in the business of drawing close to the weak. As God stoops down to lift up those who need his help, so too must we draw alongside the vulnerable among us.
