The Good Friday Walk between the churches is an old tradition around here that we are bringing back after several years’ absence. All are welcome to join some or all of it! At each church there will be a brief ‘station’ in the form of hearing part of the story of Good Friday along with a prayer and singing. We’re planning to arrive at the churches at the following times, so feel free to pick up the walk when you’re ready:
10:00am: St Augustine’s, East Hendred
10:45am: Holy Trinity, West Hendred
11:30am: Holy Trinity, Ardington
12:30pm: All Saints, Lockinge
The walking distance between each stop is around 1 mile, and the pace of the walk will be set to accommodate everyone, young and old. The stop at Ardington will include refreshments, and if the weather looks good then feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy at the last stop in Lockinge. Lifts back to your starting point may be possible – please ask.
