Facilities and features
Accessibility
We have accessible toilets in each of our two halls
We have baby-changing facilities on each of our two halls
The church itself has parking space for only 2 cars, but is immediately adjoining a free parking area owned by Tandridge council. This is associated with the cemetery and can take about 20 cars. If full, there is on-road parking in Manor Road, opposite.
The church is accessible from the adjacent (free) council-owned car parking area with no steps or severe inclines.
The main entrance, which is the nearest door to the car parking facilities, has a slope for wheelchair access.
The church has an audio system with a hearing loop, which is used for the majority of services and events.
There are large print versions of our hymn book available on request to the sidesperson distributing them at the entrance.
Our Building
Music and Worship
There is a dedicated team of bell-ringers, who ring for the main Sunday service. They are also usually available on request for weddings, and other special events.
The church has a Norman & Beard three-manual organ, with pneumatic action, built in 1908. It is maintained in good working order.
Our main choral service at 9.30am on Sunday follows the Common Worship style, but the 8am service (without music) uses the Book of Common Prayer. There is also a traditional choral evensong, once a month if possible.
The choir has two sections: the adult section leads the music at all the main choral services, and the junior section joins them for occasional services, singing their own anthems. We also have a music group, who lead one morning service and one evening service (at least) every month.
