To commemorate Congo Week and Black History Month, CRC (Conflict Resolution Centre) Bradford is hosting a Prayer Vigil for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The event will include a short documentary screening on the cobalt crisis in DRC; highlighting the human and environmental cost of going 'green'.
Canon Furaha Mussanzi, who is originally from DRC will host the event; there will be a live Congolese choir; and an opportunity to pray for peace, justice and accountability.
This event is open to anyone in our local community, from all walks of life and faith and non-faith backgrounds seeking to find out more about the current situation in Congo through the lens of a Bradford based British-Congolese resident. All are welcome.
For more information, please get in touch by e-mailing [email protected] or call 07535 881 472.
