Free event for schools. Join us at one of our two magical performances of Peter and the Wolf, the well-loved “symphonic fairy tale for children”. Composed by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936, this classic piece was written to introduce children to the instruments of an orchestra. Our performances will feature story narration from Lady Sandra Hill with Bradford Cathedral Director of Music, Graham Thorpe, on the organ.
Peter and the Wolf is the perfect introduction to classical music for children. The performance will last around 30 minutes and is suitable for those aged 7 and above.
