The plaque was installed on the 1st July 1979, and the Bradford PALS are remembered every year on the 1st July on the anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

A short memorial service will also take place on Monday 1st July 2024 at 11am at the Memorial Stone in the Memorial Garden by The Alhambra. The Very Revd Andy Bowerman, Dean of Bradford, will be in attendance.

Bradford Cathedral will be open from 10am - 4pm on the same day for you to see the plaque in person.
