On Sunday 10th September the 'Bathwick and friends', made up of ringers from St. Mary the Virgin - Bathwick - and other churches, rang a quarter peal in our tower.
Each year they have a week-long get-together and visit a different part of the country to ring at a selection of churches. This time they're in Yorkshire and have played in Oxenhope, Haworth, Norton and Sheffield, with St. Paul's in Shipley just before us. They will also ring in churches in Idle and Calverley, and at Halifax Minster, among others, making for a total of 52.
We wish them the best for the rest of their tour!
