After a sold-out event in December 2022, the Black Dyke Band are returning to Bradford Cathedral on Saturday 9th December for another Christmas Concert with the Cathedral’s Choir.
Last year’s programme included festive favourites such as O Come All Ye Faithful, Ding! Dong! Merrily On High, and Away in a Manger, as well as Rocking Carol, Santa-claustrophobia, and the Hallelujah Chorus, and this year’s programme – to be announced – promises to be just as amazing.
This year’s concert will see the Black Dyke Band performing in the nave, so you’ll be able to get up close with the prestigious brass band, who were founded locally in Queensbury and have gone on to perform across the world and win numerous awards.
The concert will see the Black Dyke Band conducted by Professor Nicholas Childs.
Tickets for this concert are on sale now, with early bird discounts available until the end of July, with tickets for under 18s only £3 (£5 afterwards). There will be a bar, selling a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, open from doors to the start of the concert, and during the interval.
The Black Dyke Band and Bradford Cathedral Choir Christmas Concert takes place in Bradford Cathedral on Saturday 9th December at 7pm (doors 6pm). Tickets can be booked now at black-dyke-band.eventbrite.co.uk or by calling the Cathedral office on 01274 77 77 20 (Mon – Fri, 9am – 2:45pm)
