Trinity College Centre was built in 1982-83 and comprises the new St George Camberwell, dedicated by the Bishop of Southwark on 1st August 1982, and linked hall accommodation. The Centre houses a number of projects and activities for the neighbourhood.
The building is faced with red bricks and fibre cement slates, and consists of three large span spaces linked by entrance and ancillary accommodation. There is a caretaker's house adjacent. The relationship of the spaces provides some awkward junctions and details at roof level. There is a sliding folding screen between the church space and the main hall to provide an extension to the worship area.
The old church of Camberwell, St George was declared redundant in 1972.
