Singing is such a great activity! We sing when we are happy or sad, alone or gathered with friends and family, or we sing just for the pleasure of it!

We feel good when we sing and it’s great for our health too. Singing encourages deep breathing and better use of our lungs, it helps memory and when singing we remember songs from long ago. Singing the songs we have known for years and remember from different times of our lives helps mental wellbeing and makes us feel happy and in touch with our past.

At 10.30 am, on Saturday, 4th May 2024 we will be singing well-known songs, hearing some familiar readings and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and some cake or biscuits.

Anybody who would like to come and either join in - or just to listen - will be very welcome. The venue is St Mary’s Church, Church Hill, Plumtree.
