Every year churches around the world celebrate Sea Sunday. It is a day for people to come together to pray for seafarers and fishers, and thank them for the vital role they play in all of our lives.
Sung Eucharist is a service of Holy Communion which usually includes a sermon and four hymns. The term "Sung" means that, in addition to the hymns, some parts of the service are sung by the congregation. The words and music are in the service booklet and are easy to follow and to sing!

St Mary's, Plumtree

Welcome to St Mary's, at the heart of the small village of Plumtree in Nottinghamshire.

St Mary's is currently open everyday from 9.30 am until 4.00 pm, for private prayer.  Additionally,  we hold a service of Holy Communion in the church on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am and two services on Sundays at 10.30 am and 6.00 pm.
