This service marks the beginning of Lent, Sung Eucharist with the Imposition of Ashes at 5.30pm. Join us for the solemn occasion of the Sung Eucharist of Ash Wednesday with Imposition of Ashes. As our Lenten journey toward Easter begins, we receive ashes upon our foreheads as a sign of our mortality, and our need for the love of God to bring us new life.

Incense is used at this service.

You can also receive an ash cross at the Holy Communion at 12.30pm.
