The Alpha course is an evangelistic course which seeks to introduce the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and to answer some of those questions you have been asking for years.
The Alpha course is for about 10 weeks including a day away. Each session will start with refreshments followed by a talk and then discussions in small groups. All are welcome.

All are welcome at St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey. Our Sunday Services are at 10.30am with Holy Communion each week
After a short welcome and time of singing, children leave the main service (on alternate weeks) to take part in children’s’ groups in rooms around the church. These groups use simple Bible based materials to help children learn about God and discover Jesus amongst other children of a similar age. Each week we have Holy Communion.

We have prayers and Bible Study in the week to learn more about the Christian faith.
