St Peter's Witherley
Welcome to St Peter's Church in Witherley.
St Peter's Church is part of the Fenn Lanes Benefice, a community of churches which includes Dadlington, Fenny Drayton, Higham-on-the-Hill, Stoke Golding. Together, we ensure our churches in each of our local communities are there in times of celebration, at times of need and to share our Christian discipleship. Our church is often open for Services, our weekly Wednesday Coffee & Company social gathering, community events, concerts and fundrasing events, including our famous August Bank Holiday duck race.
Our Services are enabled through a combination of Acts of Worship at St Peter's Church, through Benefice Services where we both host and visit other churches with the Fenn Lanes community, as well as online services. Our Services include informal All Age Services and Holy Communion, together with Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals as needed.
Please have a look at at our Services and Events page to see our latest schedule as our pattern can vary month to month, but we always offer our informal All Age Service on the first Sunday of each month at 10.30am. We also publish a monthly magazine which features details of all of our Services, reflections and news from the village.
We try to keep our doors open to welcome visitors to St Peter's outside of our scheduled Services, but it may be worth contacting us in advance to check.
