The weekend of the coronation of King Charles III and the Sapcote Village Picnic on the Park coincides with our next Messy Church so we will hosting our meeting in a gazebo on the Sapcote Recreation Ground as part of the event. This will be a joint Sapcote Churches Together venture.
Our space will offer the opportunity to indulge in being creative making and decorating 'King' based items acknowledging this special weekend in our Nation and King Jesus.
Opportunities for prayer will also be available.
All our Messy Church and Friday Family Fun families are warmly invited to attend and perhaps consider inviting another family to come with you too

Reflection of the week:

“You cannot sprint your way to peace by pretending you’re ok”

Sometimes you have to sit with your problems and think rationally, and admit that a higher power is needed! Peace comes when we relinquish our anxieties to the Lord; maybe tell a spouse, partner , friend or colleague that we are not ok but we are going to be.! Being honest with ourselves means we can be honest with the Lord. He knows how we are but He wants to hear us acknowledge it. I read that “Becoming increasingly yourself before God is maturity in prayer”

“I keep my eyes always on the Lord, with him at my right hand I will not be shaken” Psalm 16 v 8
