Blaby District Council Awards Community Grant to support the work of Hope in Sapcote and Sharnford!!The Hope Team would like to thank the Blaby District Council for their very generous award of a Community Grant for £1000. The Hope initiative began at Christmas 2020 with the aim of delivering food to local families in need and showing them that their community was thinking about them and wanted to help. The Hope Team comprises members of the churches of Sapcote and Sharnford who work in conjunction with the schools, preschools and Parish Councils to reach the families that are most in need of this support. Hampers or vouchers are delivered to them at Christmas, Easter and in the summer. This grant, awarded in December, will certainly be of great help as we plan for 2024
