New Day is a fantastic Christian conference for young people on our doorstep – at the Showground. Please pray for inspiring teaching and a wonderful experience for them.Youth for Christ “are looking for a host for one of our gap years who starts in September. The host needs to be able to provide a room and meals and we can pay £40 a week towards their living costs and are on hand should a host have any concerns they want to talk through. If you know anyone who could offer a place to stay for the academic year then we can arrange a visit to talk through everything. Our Facebook page has about the difference the year makes”.
Tools With A Mission who collect tools and other items to send to people who need them in Africa, are in great need of haberdashery items . There are comprehensive lists and contact information at the back of St Eds if anyone has anything they can donate. Many thanks. Paul Scarff
Bible groups – we have a range and variety of different groups meeting together to read God’s word and to pray together. The groups are a great encouragement in our discipleship of Jesus. A number of the groups have vacancies. if you are interested in joining a group, please speak to Rev Paul.
