Jesus spent a lot of time chatting with people around the meal table and we like to regularly follow his example.
At the end of every service, tea, coffee, squash and biscuits are served in the Community Hall.
On the third Sunday of most months at about 12.30pm we have a shared lunch where we're invited to bring some food (though bringing food is not obligatory) and we eat with one another and catch up on each others' lives. In the months of July and August, we put our faith in the British summer weather and have a picnic or barbecue instead.
On other occasions, we do a bit of fundraising for our mission partners or in response to a recent tragedy by holding events like a Soupa Sunday where several of us make soup and fresh bread and donations are invited. And sometimes we simply have a social evening with lots of lovely food.
