This special service of Choral Evensong a chance to reflect on the crucial work done by Chichester District Foodbank and to look forward to the ways we can continue to assist those in need.

Joanne Kondabeka, CEO and Founder of Chichester District Foodbank, invites everyone to join in this communal event: "Each gathering is a reminder of the generosity and compassion that thrive within our community. Although the challenges are many, our combined efforts bring hope and substantial support to those who need it most."

While booking is not essential, we ask that you register your attendance in good time, as space may be limited.

Note: Attendees are kindly asked to consider bringing a non-perishable food item to support the Foodbank's ongoing efforts. Every little bit helps make a big difference!

Safeguarding

The Dean and Chapter are committed to the protection of children and vulnerable adults visiting the Cathedral, the Cathedral Choristers, and those attending services as well as any Employees, Trainees and Volunteers.

There are seven people at the Cathedral (two clergy, four staff, and a volunteer team leader) who work closely with the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer and are specially trained and available to talk to anyone who has a safeguarding concern about a child, young person or any adult who may be at risk.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
