It is regarded as the 'Birth of Christianity' - from this point the eleven remaining disciples and the followers of Jesus having witnessed and appreciated the connection with the Lord God led to Christian communities developing throughout the Roman empire.

Our parish of Stalybridge: St George is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm.
