We are delighted to announce that the Bishop of Manchester, in consultation with the parish representatives has offered the post of Vicar at three churches, St George Stalybridge, St George Mossley and St John Roughtown to Revd Denise Owen, Vicar of St Thomas Moorside.A welcome service will be at St. George's Stalybridge on Thursday, 14th September at 7.30pm. Please pray for Denise as she prepares for this next chapter in her ministry.
The idea is that you put some small set amount, like 1p or 2p, every day into a jar. Over time, you can generate a small sum, but without noticing it. If you have already started, thank you. If you haven't, it is not too late. If you need a jar, please see Rose Hayward at the church, or contact the wardens. We will collect the jars on our Church Anniversary (24th June); all proceeds to Unicef. Last but not least, thank you for your support!
