St. John 19
"Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, and said, Hail, King of the Jews: and they smote him with their hands."

Good Friday is the day when Christians remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It is a sombre day.
We welcome you to this afternoon service of reflection to pray and reflect on the sacrifice Jesus willingly paid for all our sins.

Enderby Parish Church

Welcome!  We are an Anglican Evangelical church whose members largely live in Enderby and the immediate surrounds.  We seek to grow as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and make Him known.

The parish of Enderby w Lubbesthorpe: St John Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
