Breedon Priory Church

We are one of Leicestershire's oldest churches, founded in the 7th century with carvings dating back to the 8th/9th century. All are welcome to worship, pray or simply visit this special place. We hold monthly services, with other events as advertised. Visit https://breedonpriorychurch.org/ for more details.

The Chapel of Holy Trinity, Staunton Harold is also within this parish. For details of services there, please visit https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/peak-district-derbyshire/staunton-harold-church/things-to-see-and-do-at-staunton-harold-church

Safeguarding

Our parish of Breedon on the Hill: St Mary and St Hardulph is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the guidance and policies issues by the House of Bishops, and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leicester's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be a risk of harm please contact the PSO: Sue Brown ([email protected]), or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Rachael Spiers on 07930 819279 ([email protected]).
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority's children or adult social care services.
