All welcome to join us for our Ash Wednesday service in church led by Steve Clowes.

Ash Wednesday marks the start of lent (6 weeks prior to Easter). During lent we look to focus on repentance, grace and forgiveness. Lent is 40 days long includes 6 Sundays prior to Easter. Ashes made from palm crosses are blessed and are used to make crosses on people's foreheads. "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return. Turn away from sin and be faithful to Christ."

The parish of Ashby-de-la-Zouch: Holy Trinity is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
