Join us for a reflective communion service.
Meet at 10.15am at St Simon & St Jude's Church for a walk of witness down to Earl Shilton Methodist Church ready for a service at 11.00am. If the weather is reasonable, the service will be outside; if not, we will move inside. All welcome.
We read in the Bible that it was about 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Good Friday that Jesus breathed his last and died. This year we are inviting as many people as possible to join us on the St Simon and St Jude’s Facebook page for 3pm so that we can stop for a few minutes together, wherever we are, to remember Jesus’ death on the cross and the sacrifice he made for us. We will have a short time (5 minutes) of reflection and prayer together.
