At 10:30 we start to process from the miner's wheel to the church. There, we will celebrate Jesus's entry into Jerusalem, an event that took place a few days before he was arrested and crucified. He died (and rose again!) so that we might have life in all its fullness.

We set off from Mount St Bernard's Abbey at 9:15am to stopping off at a local churches for a short prayer. We end at 12:30pm on the green at at Thringstone for a short time of public worship.

Set aside an hour to hear and think about the scripture readings that tell us what happened when Jesus was crucified - an event that changed the world. Through what happened on the cross we can find forgiveness for our rebellion against God's ways. (His subsequent resurrection from the dead showed that he had succeeded in doing that)
