About Us

South Acre Church is a small, friendly community.  For many people, St George's is their second church. Its monthly Evening Prayer service attracts worshippers from not just South Acre, but from all over the Nar Valley.

We use the Book of Common Prayer for our services. St George's is a member of the Prayer Book Society, a charity which promotes traditional worship. We find the poetic language of the old Prayer Book is well-suited to this beautiful ancient building.

Do come along to meet us, either to worship or to visit. You will be sure of a warm welcome.
