About Us

St James the Great has a friendly congregation, from Castle Acre itself, the surrounding villages, and even further afield. We use "Common Worship" for all our Sunday services. 

(Our sister churches in West Acre, South Acre and Newton use the traditional Book of Common Prayer).

We hold regular fundraising events to support the church's repair programme. Members of our congregation are also involved with other local charities, and we support Castle Acre's church school.
