Baptism

Baptism (sometimes known as Christening) marks a new beginning of Christian life whether we are adults, young people or children. There is no cost for a Baptism, but we do encourage you to make an offering at whichever church you hold your Baptism service, to help with our costs.

We look forward to welcoming families to churches for Baptism. It’s always a time of joyful celebration when we thank God for our children and welcome them into the Church.

Baptisms usually take place on Sundays, either within the regular service time where the main congregation can welcome your child into the family of God, or a private service at 12.30pm. Baptisms can be booked on the following Sundays:

All Saints', Stanton Hill - 1st Sunday of the month.

St Katherine's, Teversal - 2nd Sunday of the month.

St Andrew's, Skegby - 3rd Sunday of the month.

Baptism by full immersion can be offered.
