About Us

St. Christopher's is set in the large social housing estate of Holme Wood. The church provides a wide range of community services and activities and is always glad to welcome new people to these and to our two worship services on Sundays.

We seek to be a place of hope and welcome for everyone on the estate and we're open throughout the week with activities and events for a wide range of people:

Good Neighbours runs a community cafe at lunchtime on Monday and Thursday, a place to buy affordable fruit and veg, and a wide range of events and activities to encourage people to belong and have fun.  Details are on our website: www.goodneighbour.co.uk 

St Christopher's Family Centre runs parent and toddler groups, parenting courses and a range of clubs and groups for children and young people to have fun, learn and play together.  Details are on our website at www.familycentre.org.uk  

We're part of the Church of England parish of Tong and Laisterdyke with our sister churches - St. James, Tong and St Mary's, Laisterdyke.
