A service was held on the evening of the 20th August as Reverend Biddy was licensed as the Associate Priest in Barkby. The service was led by the Archdeacon of Leicester, the Venerable Richard Worsfold. He was assisted by the Area Dean Rob Gladstone and John Hewer.  Over a hundred people gathered to celebrate the occassion in prayer and song. A collection for Diocese Ministry Experience Bursary Scheme raised in excess of £320.
