The charity donations from this year's Seagrave Wolds Challenge were presented at the start of the village carol service on Sunday 18th December. A full church heard that the proceeds distributed this year amounted to £8,400 and that, since the first Wolds Challenge in 2005, the event has raised over £110,000. Charities and village organisations which benefited this year were: Home Starter boxes (Loughborough Beacons Rotary Club); Rainbows Children's Hospice; Soar Valley Community Food Project; The Royal British Legion; Seagrave School; Seagrave WI; and Seagrave Village War Memorial Hall. The Committee is already planning the 2023 event, so watch this space, or look for the Seagrave Wolds Challenge web page.
