Our summer concert will be given by 'Occasional Brass', a 5-piece ensemble comprising two trumpets, trombone, French horn and tuba, and based in Nottingham. Their programme will feature light classical, film and jazz music to include numbers such as 'Sunrise, sunset' (Fiddler on the Roof); a selection from 'Les Miserables'; Rodger's and Hart's 'Blue Moon'; Duke Ellington's 'It don't mean a thing' and the rousing 'Liberty Bell', brought to popular notice as the Monty Python theme. The concert takes place in Seagrave church (LE12 7LT) on Friday 5th July at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 (under 18's £5) and include interval drinks and light refreshments.
