All through Advent mini figures are acting out the Christmas story in the lych gate at Holy Cross Church. The figures are keeping themselves out of the rain by sheltering in a repurposed rabbit hutch.Do come along and see them or check out their pictures on our Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/1542411029405245/posts/2639007396412264/You could also bring something for the reverse Advent Calendar which is collecting items to help the Woodingdean Food Hub that is based at Holy Cross.After viewing the story you can pop into the porch and find yourself a book or a puzzle or a toy (for a donation) to help you through the winter days. The church is open daily for private prayer. A Parish Eucharist will take place at 10.30 on Sunday. Please wear a mask and social distance when in the church building.
Think backwards this Advent by donating to the Reverse Advent Calendar, instead of receiving a gift each day donate a gift to those less fortunate than you.Gifts can be left in the church porch or in the Holy Cross Hutch, just be careful not to upset the figures acting the Christmas story.
