We are lucky to be in a lovely village with farmland all around us.

Though few of us are actively involved in farming today, harvest is still a special time in the countryside, and makes us aware of all those involved in producing our food.

Many people grow some food in their own gardens, and we are more aware of the impacts of our food choices on the planet.

The Church's Harvest Services will be on Sunday 29th September, and the Church will be open to view the flowers during the afternoon.

With other local people we are organising a harvest celebration for the whole village on Saturday 5th October at Wivelsfield Village Hall, with local produce, competitions and a talent show!
