Risk Assessments

Risk Assessments for the Church and Hall will appear here to assist those planning events on behalf of the church.

If you are planning an event, please read the risk assessment for the area(s) where your event will be taking place. This should account for the majority of risks associated with your event.  Risk assessments for outside areas and the Village Hall are available from the Church's Health and Safety officer.

Complete the Individual Event Risk Assessment, adding any extra risks if necessary. (Extra risks include bonfires, bouncy castles etc. – anything that could conceivably result in injury which is not on the general form.) This form must be handed in to the PCC for approval.

Before opening every session of your event, complete the Safer Spaces Checklist. This must be handed in to the PCC after the event, and may be spot-checked during the event.

There is no need to hand in the general area risk assessment. You may choose to complete the blank columns to help with your planning, but it is not necessary to show this.
