Wiggonholt Parish Church

Welcome to Wiggonholt Parish Church, a place of peace and prayer over the centuries and a living church community today.   The church is normally open daily for private prayer.

We are delighted that services in church have resumed. However we may still hold services in the churchyard in fine weather.

Our regular service pattern is Evening Prayer on 1st Sunday (3pm in winter, 6pm in summer) and Holy Communion 9.15am on 3rd Sunday of the month, often followed by refreshments.   Services normally use the Book of Common Prayer.

Please note that there is NO electric lighting and little heating: you may need to bring a torch and dress warmly.

We continue to provide prayers and reflections by weekly email: please contact a churchwarden to be added to the list.

SAFEGUARDING: We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, who can be contacted at [email protected]. You may also wish to visit The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages if you have a concern: https://safeguarding.chichester.anglican.org.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Wiggonholt is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have a Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) shared with Amberley, Melanie Edge via [email protected].
Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. https://safeguarding.chichester.anglican.org/contacttheteam/.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
