Morning Prayer in Lady Chapel with Common Worship Lectionary:

Begins with a 15 minute period of silent prayer.

St George, Whyke

We are a Church of England parish open to everyone and serving the spiritual needs of all who live in Whyke, Rumboldswyke, Portfield and parts of Shopwyke in the South East of Chichester.

We are a friendly family church, welcoming people from all backgrounds and ages. We seek to be a school of loving service for adults and children alike in which, amid the challenges and joys of our times, we learn in our daily lives and relationships to give glory to God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our mission is to do this through reverent and generous worship, which draws on the wellspring of Anglican spirituality and choral music, and by building up the common good and each person’s dignity and freedom in our local context. We hope that all may flourish and delight in the beauty, goodness and truth of God’s love as revealed in Jesus Christ and in a more humane, just and sustainable world.
