10.00am-noon: Churchyard work party - Jobs large and small. Please bring gloves and tools. We'd love to continue to edge and weed the paths. Edge up the ashes memorial plaques that are disappearing under the grass. Tidy around the notice board and war memorial. Clear more ivy from the trees and cut back the shrub next to the vestry. The kettle will be on and bacon or egg sandwiches will appear.

Westfield Church Community Drop In
On Wednesday mornings from 10.30am to noon in St John’s everyone is welcome to drop in for refreshments and a chat. Joanna the Deputy Clerk to the Parish Council and Sandi have the kettle on and the coffee maker at the ready to give you a warm welcome (and yes, the heating is on too so it is actually warm!). Joanna is great to talk to as she knows what’s going on in the village that the Parish Council are involved in.
We hope also to create a Village Pantry where people who cannot access food banks in Hastings, because of transport difficulties, can collect groceries during the Drop In. The first couple of weeks have been good fun and we look forward to word getting around the village that this is a good opportunity to get out and meet especially as we are missing lovely Taris’.

The Friends of Westfield Church Christmas Fair...on 30th November at 2pm in the church hall. There will be... cakes, books, crafts, Granny's Attic, a tombola and a raffle.

We meet at 3pm in the Church Hall for an afternoon of fun, crafts, food and songs... for all ages.

Carols by Candlelight. There will be refreshments in the Church Hall afterwards.
