Welcome to the homepage of St. John the Divine West Worthing.

You will find us on the corner of Elm Grove and Ripley Road, a few steps away from the busy Goring Road.

St. John's, as most people refer to it, is an Anglo Catholic Church in the Church of England Diocese of Chichester. We have daily masses throughout the week, (excepting Fridays). Normally the weekday services are said, while Sunday's main service is a sung mass at 10 am, For about one hour with traditional vestments, bells and incense. (There is also a shorter said Eucharist at 8am on Sundays)

If you come to join us, we hope that you will make yourselves known to us and join us for refreshments after the sung mass on Sundays.

St. John's has a very prayerful atmosphere, and we hope that you will enjoy the music  -  a mixture of traditional and modern hymns.

We also have the reserved sacrament which is regularly taken to  housebound members of the church.
