IMPORTANT: during Jan and Feb 2025, the church will be closed for redecoration and stonework conservation. During this time, Be Still will be held in the Church Room, Pound Road, West Wittering.

At Be Still we pray silently not only for people who are acutely ill, but also those with long-term health problems. We also pray for people facing all sorts of difficulties and challenges, such as struggling businesses, job interviews, starting at college or university, financial and other worries. We pray for people by name or anonymously.

(A traditional but intimate service held in the Lady Chapel, accompanied by a keyboard. The service is sung, except for the psalm which is said, and includes three hymns, a sermon and intercessions).
