Over the next few weeks, we are going to be reflecting upon the vision we believe God has been revealing for the parish. In order to be able to communicate the vision to as many people as possible, we are holding a number of vision events at various times in the hope that everyone from across the churches will be able to attend one of these.

Please note these events will all be providing the same information so you only need to attend one of the three (though you are welcome to attend more than one if you wish to). If you are unable to attend any of the events, please do let me know so that we can try to find alternative ways for you to be able to hear the vision.

There will be an opportunity at each event to ask questions and of course to pray about our exciting future as a parish.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Slaugham and Staplefield Common is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
