Palm Sunday

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Mary (Our Lady) Sidlesham
Address
Church Lane Sidlesham Chichester, PO20 7RH, United Kingdom

Join us this Sunday for our Palm Sunday service as we remind ourselves of Jesus on His triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the excitement as palm branches are waved and cloaks are laid down — marking the beginning of His journey to the cross. We begin in the Church Hall with the blessing of the palm crosses, followed by a procession to the church for the service. Palm crosses will be distributed to all attendees as a reminder of this sacred moment.

St Mary (Our Lady) Sidlesham

Welcome to St Mary’s Sidlesham. We are a family friendly church welcoming all in the village of Sidlesham & neighbouring villages along with all visitors. We hope you can join us for services, events and activities. A warm welcome awaits you.

We are a community focussed church where faith lies at the heart of all we do. There are lots of ways to get involved from volunteering at our weekly Warm Space 'Mary's Place' or helping once a month with a bit of gardening.

Our social media pages have all our latest news, service updates and events/activities so please do follow us to stay up to date. We look forward to welcoming you.

Safeguarding

At Sidlesham we are committed to safeguarding all children, young people and adults from harm and we believe in promoting a safe environment and culture for all.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO Vanessa Foden or Fr Chris. You can find the link to our safeguarding information and a contact form here:

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
